Psychological Principles in User Experience Research

This 4-hour advanced session covers a selection of the most important psychological principles to be aware of when conducting user research including social influence, cognitive biases, schemas, short-term memory, reconstructive memory and experimental design. 

The learning objectives for the training are:

  • To understand how to recognise and identify psychological effects during the research process
  • To learn practical techniques to mitigate psychological effects during the research process
